Del Norte has a vibrant pickleball community, ranging from Beginning to Advanced, with programming for all levels.
Our 10 dedicated pickleball courts include newly-installed LED lighting for nighttime play.
If you’re a brand-new player and want to see what the fuss is all about, check out the free Intro to Pickleball class, held on the first Saturday of each month. This class covers basic pickleball shots, scoring, position, and strategy. You’ll also learn about the many opportunities to play at Del Norte and how to become a part of our dynamic and fun community.

Progressive Challenges Drop-in
Sunday morning Progressive Challenges. Players move up or down from court to court depending on their wins or losses, followed by open competitive play. Spots fill up fast, so register early on www.playtimescheduler.com.

This free beginner pickleball class teaches the basic shots, rules, and scoring to help new players feel confident getting started on the court.

Intermediate Pickleball
A fast paced training session for players who can rally consistently and want to sharpen technique, reduce errors, and learn smarter patterns for winning points.

Can I check-out a ball machine?
Pickleball and tennis ball machines are available for our members to check out. Stop by the front desk to get the keys.
First-time users can ask for a quick tutorial with our Tennis & Pickleball Director, Joseph Ballard. Also see our ball machine instructional pages for tennis and pickleball.
Can I take private lessons?
Private and group lessons are available to members and non-members for both tennis and pickleball. Additionally, we have a Junior Tennis Program for ages 6 and up. For rates, schedules, or more information, please contact:

Is there a dress code for the courts?
Only tennis/pickleball attire is allowed. No black soled shoes, cut-offs, bare feet, swimming attire, or street wear is permitted. Shirts must be worn at all times. Members may be asked to leave the courts if not following the proper dress code.
Can I reserve a pickleball court?
Pickleball courts are reservable outside of any scheduled programming. You may go on the Member Portal or call the club at 916-483-5111, up to two days in advance to reserve a court for up to two hours.
