Childcare & Kids Loft


Designed for children ranging in age from five months to six years, our childcare is a safe, fun place for your kids to play while you enjoy your workout at the club.

Our childcare hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-12pm & 4pm-8pmSaturday, 8am-12pm

Kids Loft

The Kids Loft is designed for children ages 7-12 years. The lounge is fully supervised by the Del Norte Staff during all available hours. The loft includes game tables, video game systems, movies, games, and more all in one location. It is located upstairs in the back building.

Youth Events & Programs

Parents Night Out

Our popular monthly kid’s event that occurs on the third Saturday of each month is a great opportunity for parents for enjoy a date night. Parents can have a night out while kids have dinner and treats, play games, and work on a variety of themed arts & crafts.

Summer Camp

During the summer, we have an ideal program for kids. Our Daycamp allows kids to be kids. We design the camp to be full of fun and exciting activities, usually built around a weekly theme. Previous theme weeks have included Star Wars, Western, Survivor Week, and more. Each theme includes field trips, special games, team building activities, and more. Additional fees are required, but include all activities, field trips, and food for the kids.

Youth Fitness & Sports

Junior Fitness Programs

With childhood obesity reaching epidemic levels, Del Norte offers two distinct programs for juniors to learn how to use the fitness center.

Tip Top Teens (ages 9-12): Our Youth TTT will give kids a basic introduction to fitness and exercise. This class is designed to give kids experience with the cardio machines and with some exercises and stretches. Ages 9-12 can only use the fitness center while accompanied by their parents.

Tip Top Teens (ages 12-15): The Junior TTT program is designed to teach teens how to use the fitness equipment and other basic fitness information. Teens will receive a personalized workout and can use the fitness center unsupervised as long a parent or guardian 18 years+ remains on the Del Norte premises at all times.

Junior Tennis Program

Del Norte host a very active and enthusiastic Junior Tennis Program.  The program includes USTA ranked and High School Varsity players, but all classes have the capacity for players to begin with little or no experience as well as further develop the skills of advanced players with more experience.


Swim Lessons

We offer private and semi-private swim lessons throughout the year for ages 3 years+. Availability of instructors and pool space varies by season. Lessons are coordinated between the instructor and member/guest. Please contact our Aquatics Director, Emily Loeffler, at to schedule a lesson.

Fall Swim Clinic
During the Fall, kids have another unique opportunity to further enhance their swimming skills and increase their physical fitness. Our fall Swim program allows kids to continue improving their swimming and compete in optional individual swim meets. Practice schedules vary and will be announced prior to the program.
Del Norte Dolphins

For decades our swim team has provided thousands of kids with instruction, competition, teamwork, sportsmanship, and most of all, fun. Our team and parent board strive to make our team a positive experience for both kids and parents.

The Dolphins compete in the Northern California Swim League and have a rich history of success.  Our swim season begins in April and continues through July every year. Our experienced coaching staff also teaches several clinics per year including Stroke and Turn and Fall
