Since we opened in 1957, Del Norte has always taken pride in our swimming facilities and aquatic programs.
Del Norte features three pools. Our heated Indoor Pool and seasonal Outdoor Pool allow our members to enjoy water exercise throughout the year and our Wading Pool is a great option for young kids to splash around in.
Aquatic Programs & Lessons
U.S. Masters Swim Program
Our Masters Swim program meets Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings from 5-6am. All swimmers 18+ are welcome to join in an hour of guided workouts. We have all levels of swimmers and work on all four strokes, fitness, and personal goals. Each workout is created for success and can be modified to meet each swimmers needs. The class is offered in the Indoor Pool during the winter and early spring months and then continues in the Outdoor Pool. This class is free of charge for Del Norte members.

We offer private, semi-private, and group swim lessons throughout the year. Availability of instructors and pool space varies by season. Lessons are coordinated between the instructor and member/guest.

Del Norte Dolphins
The Dolphins compete in the Northern California Swim League and have a rich history of success. Our team is open to boys and girls ages 5 to 18. Our swim season begins in April and continues through July every year. Our experienced coaching staff also teaches several clinics per year including Stroke and Turn and Fall

Aquatic Fitness Classes
We feature one of the most comprhensive Aqua Fitness programs available in Sacramento. With a variety of classes available each week, there is a class to meeet your needs and schedule!
Our dynamic group of instructors teach a variety of classes from traditional classes using noodles and handbars, to water walking and higher intensity classes with jumping and treading.
WATER WALKING is an active class using different travel patterns to maximize the resistance of the water. It’s a good class for training at any level.
WATER IN MOTION (WIM)
WIM is an aqua exercise workout that provides a low impact, high-energy challenge. Jump in and make a splash with this dynamic cardiovascular workout that tones and tapers the entire body.
NOODLE MANIA uses the noodles to learn transitions and holds to maximize core workout. Varying intensities
to regulate cardio/core training. Includes range of motion exercises to increase flexibility.
AQUA COMBO has a variety of styles, intensities, and equipment designed to provide a great workout every time.
AQUA CIRCUIT is composed of cycles of cardio alternated with cycles of muscle strengthening with equipment. A classic aqua workout for everyone!
AQUA POWER teaches how to add power to basic water moves and burn calories in the large muscles. Whole body strength training and stretching is also included.
