Del Norte features a fitness center complete with the latest generation cardio and resistance equipment. We feature cardio machines including treadmills, elliptical machines, stationary bikes, stair climbers, and rowing ergometers. We have a full resistance circuit with the selectorized equipment from Technogym. The free weight section includes many of the most popular free weight exercises in the industry.
Our Group Exercise programs are the new generation of fitness classes designed to keep you energized and enthused with innovative moves, amazing music, and entertainment that will deliver fabulous results and keep you coming back for more. Whatever you want to achieve, we have a group exercise class for you.

Del Norte features one of the most comprehensive Aqua Fitness programs available in Sacramento. With over 20 classes available per week in our heated, indoor pool, there is a class to meet everyone’s needs and schedule. Low-impact water workouts combine cardiovascular exercises and strength training, with little risk of injury. Water provides 12 times more resistance than air resulting in movements being more challenging, requiring muscles to work harder, burning calories, and toning the muscles. Water classes are also safe. Our pool is only chest deep, so swimmers and non-swimmers alike can enjoy the classes.

With childhood obesity reaching epidemic levels, Del Norte offers two distinct programs for juniors to learn how to use the fitness center. Youth Fit For Life (ages 9-12): Our Youth FFL will give kids a basic introduction to fitness and exercise. The classes are designed to give the kids experience with the cardio machines and with some exercises and stretches. Kids can only use the fitness center while accompanied by their parents. Teen Fit For Life (ages 12-15): The Teen FFL program is three group sessions designed to teach teens how to use the fitness equipment and other basic fitness information. Teens will receive a personalized workout and can use the fitness center unsupervised.
Del Norte features three certified Pilates instructors who are specifically trained to teach members on the Pilates Reformer. The reformer is the main piece of equipment used in Pilates exercise. The reformer glides forward & backward on rollers and uses springs for resistance allowing for a variety of exercises and positions. Our private training studio provides a relaxing environment for training. We offer both private and group reformer training with specifically designed programs to fit individual needs. Friendly Childcare Center
The Kids Loft is designed for children ages 7-12 years. The lounge is fully supervised by the Del Norte Staff during all available hours. The loft includes game tables, video game systems, movies, games, and more all in one location. It is located upstairs in the back building. Loft hours vary by season, see club staff for current hours.
After School Care
Our After School Program is a safe alternative for kids in 1st through the 6th grade. Our program provides a safe and fun alternative for after school care. The kids participate in a variety of different activity centers, can get homework assistance, play sports, meet new friends, and more. Program runs Monday through Friday from 2:30-5:30 pm during the school year.
Summer Day Camp
During the summer, we have an ideal program for kids. Our Daycamp allows kids to be kids. We design the camp to be full of fun and exciting activities, usually built around a weekly theme. Previous theme weeks have included Star Wars, Western, Survivor Week, and more. Each theme includes field trips, special games, team building activities, and more. Additional fees are required, but include all activities, field trips, and food for the kids.
Junior Sports Camps
During the summer, we offer a variety of Jr. Sports Camps. Our Tennis, Pickleball, and Basketball camps teach kids the basics of each sport. They include drills and hands on instruction. We also offer swim lessons and have a Del Norte swim team. Our jr. sports camps and programs are a great way for kids to learn how to be on a team, make friends, and be active, all while learning a new skill!
